Stratford has been open almost 2 years now - myself and business partner Amit, who used to work as a mobile Optometrist, have recently opened a second store in Hereford. There's the possibility of a third in the pipeline due to the overwhelming success of our current stores.

How long have you owned your store?

Myself and Dispensing Optician Jim Bryce have owned our store since 1996. We became cash positive after just 12 months and have taken dividends ever since. It spurred us on to buy our second Vision Express store in 1997, located in Stirling.

Myself and business partner David have the proud distinction of being the first Vision Express joint venture partners - we've owned our store since 1995.

Why did you choose Vision Express?

David is an Optometrist who loved the Vision Express concept, and I saw it as a great business opportunity. The Vision Express brand is a great way to differentiate us from all other high street opticians.

How easy was it to buy your store?

Very straightforward indeed. What's more we were prepared to wait for the best location available and ended up relocating to Shrewsbury. The team received a great deal of initial training and development too, with ongoing regional support.
