Company Background
Vision Express was founded in 1988 with the launch of the UK's first 'one hour' Opticians. In the years that followed we've grown to create a network of over 320 stores, with a dedicated team of more than 4,300. In 1997 we joined Europe's largest optical retailer, GrandVision and we've continued to strengthen our UK and European position through our sister eye care brands Grand Optical, Solaris and Generale D'Optique.
Today the GrandVision Group collectively operates over 930 stores across 15 countries, employing around 9,000 people.
