Training and Development
As you'd expect, you'll see your fair share of training with us. What you might not be expecting is just how much support we'll give you. On average you can look forward to over 300 hours of professional training as one of our Optical Assistants. As one of our Optometrists you'll have access to continuous development keeping you at the very top of your profession and supporting both your professional and managerial aspirations.
It all starts on day one with a thorough company induction to really help you get to grips with who we are, what we do and how we do it. Then, if you're in one of our Optical Assistant roles, you will work towards our key to success training programme completing our Bronze, Silver and Gold modules and concluding with our very own Internal Diploma which crowns the key to success path. Setting new standards for our industry they are a clear measure of your progress and the perfect way to measure your own personal development. Not only are they incredibly satisfying on a personal level, we'll also reward you as you achieve each stage.
Of course it doesn't stop there. With an internal management promotion rate of over 80% our 3 levels of structured Management Programmes are an integral part of both our future and yours. Working at your own pace you'll be making your way to the forefront of our business. Step by step, day by day, we'll be right there with you, continuously reviewing your needs and offering the perfect package of training and development initiatives to help you achieve your full potential. Of course, in return, you'll help us do the same.
